The Tennessee Titans were back on the field for practice Tuesday and finally began dedicated prep for Week 1 and their battle with the New York Jets.
The front office and staff also spent time working out a couple of offensive linemen, Chuma Edoga and Xavier Truss, but failed to add either.
Edoga was a former third-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2019 NFL Draft, and has seen time at both guard and tackle over his career, playing in 62 games and making 25 starts.
Truss entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Denver Broncos following the 2025 NFL Draft, before being waived and landing with the New Orleans Saints. As a rookie, he appeared in seven games as a special teamer.
Tennessee also announced the release of veteran center Andre James from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
This has been a busy week in Nashville, and more moves could be on the horizon before kicking off full practices ahead of their matchup with the Jets in Week 1.
