Football and fun has been the longtime mantra of our Clubhouse Live show.
Here’s another we’ve adopted as we continue to prepare for a new season of Green Bay Packers chatter: If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.
For the second year in a row, Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden and safety Evan Williams have agreed to serve as our anchor guests as we get ready to kick off Season 18 of Clubhouse Live, USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s weekly and award-winning show that focuses on everything Green and Gold and premieres Sept. 7.
Golden and Williams proved to be big hits last season with both displaying easy-going and approachable personalities that often had the crowd laughing and smiling.
So sticking with the same game plan and running it back was an easy call for us.
Once again, The Fox Club – a bright and spacious 4,250 square-foot venue located inside Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute – will serve as our backdrop.

What is Clubhouse Live?It’s USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s award-winning Packers show, which can be seen in person Mondays at 6:30 p.m. during the football season. A version of the program first launched in 2009. A current player will join us most weeks with Golden and Williams making semi-regular appearances.
Golden, the Packers’ first-round draft pick in 2025, continues to be lauded for his athleticism, speed, route running and hands and has positioned himself to have a breakout season in his second year. He’ll help us focus on the offense.
Williams, meanwhile, is among the top safeties in the league and coming off a standout 2025 season that saw him post 100 tackles, five pass breakups and three interceptions. He’ll help us focus on the defense.
That’s an impressive one-two punch, don’t you think?
What do you talk about on the show?We'll review who the Packers just faced and sneak a peek at who’s next on the schedule. But we also like to give a glimpse into the players’ lives away from football through a fun and interactive discussion with USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin co-hosts Brett Christopherson and Ricardo Arguello.
If you’re looking exclusively for Xs and Os, we’re not it. If you’re looking for a mix of football and laughs – and not necessarily in that order – you’ve definitely come to the right place.
You said a Packers player will join the show 'most weeks?'We’ll have some shows this season in which a current player will be unavailable due to the Packers’ schedule. So to fill those dates, we’ll ask a former Packers player or someone associated with the team to appear on shows we call our Legends Editions.
We reminisce with them about some of the great moments, games and seasons in franchise history and also get their take on the current Packers team and season.
And when we call them legends, we mean it. Many of the guys who have joined us for those special shows are enshrined in the Packers Hall of Fame. And some are even Pro Football Hall of Famers. Consider it a championship roster.
Matthew Golden is the guest on your Sept. 7 season-premiere show?That’s correct. The Packers’ second-year wideout will help us look ahead to that big Week 1 showdown against the Minnesota Vikings. And yes, we’re well aware that’s Labor Day. If the Packers have to work, so do we.

What can I expect to experience at The Fox Club?The Fox Club is an open-concept bar and restaurant that features a variety of table options, 10 60-inch TVs, great sight lines to watch the show and a beautiful view of Neuroscience Group Field – the home ballpark of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the high Class-A minor league affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The venue is situated on the upper deck of the stadium, and elevator service is available. A large on-site parking lot – at no charge to park – will provide convenient access for those who attend the show. Neuroscience Group Field, located at 2400 N. Casaloma Dr. in Grand Chute, is also visible from Interstate 41.
Seating is plentiful as The Fox Club can fit up to 250 people, so there’s ample room and comfort to sit back and hang out with some of your favorite Packers players.
Will food be available for purchase at The Fox Club?Yes! The Fox Club will offer traditional ballpark and tailgating food and drinks each week. Meanwhile, the venue has a full bar that features eight draught lines and cocktail options. As we have said in the past, the Timber Rattlers are experts at keeping folks happy, entertained and well-fed. And we’re thrilled to partner with them again this season.
Is the show on TV?You could say that. Clubhouse Live is streamed live on all our network websites (including clubhouselive.com) and Facebook pages (including facebook.com/packersnews) and on our USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin YouTube channel. So, yes, you can connect the show to your smart TV and enjoy all the fun.
Is a ticket needed for admission?No, admission is free.
How early should I arrive?Gates open at 5 p.m., and seats – it’s first-come, first-seated – typically start filling up by 5:30 p.m.
