Christ School runner Brooks Barbee is heading to Oregon.
He announced his commitment to the Ducks' cross-country and track programs on Instagram on Sept. 1.
"I'm incredibly excited to announce my commitment to the University of Oregon Track & Field and Cross Country programs!" Barbee wrote. "This would not be possible without the support of my coaches, teammates and family."
Barbee is the reigning All-WNC Boys Runner of the Year. He helped the Greenies win the state championship last season. He'll be crucial as Christ School tries to go back-to-back.
He also announced a name, image and likeness partnership with New Balance on Aug. 4.
