49ers' Jed York absent from NFL owners meeting three days after arrest

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was not in attendance at a meeting of NFL owners in Atlanta on Wednesday, a league source said, three days after he was arrested in a prostitution sting at a trailer park near his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio.

The 49ers were represented by CEO Al Guido, who, as with many other high-level league executives, regularly attends owners meetings. Owners gathered to vote on the sale of the Seahawks to Bay Area venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, who purchased a 3.1% minority stake in the 49ers last year. Khosla's stake in the 49ers will be divested when the sale is finalized.

York pleaded no contest Monday to disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools after he was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio. The NFL has said it is reviewing the matter under its personal conduct policy.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that York has been living in Ohio this summer. York filed for divorce from his wife, Danielle Belluomini York, in May. Shanahan noted the relocation when asked if he expected York to be away from the 49ers in the aftermath of his arrest.

"It's been like that this summer anyways with him being out in Ohio and things like that," Shanahan said. "So it would be no difference right now. He hasn't been here for training camp."
