Barnsley have signed Ivorian striker Ben Hamed Toure from French second-tier club Annecy for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old has joined the Tykes on a three-year deal with a club option of a fourth year.

Toure began his professional career at Ajaccio and has gone on to make more than 100 club appearances so far.

"Ever since I was little, I've always dreamed of coming to England and playing in England - it's always been a dream of mine," Toure told Barnsley's website.

"The manager's style of play really excited me and that's what convinced me to make this move."
