Burnley Football Club has made significant moves in the transfer market, securing the services of defender Igor Julio from Brighton & Hove Albion and forward Largie Ramazani from Leeds United. These signings come as the Clarets seek to bolster their squad following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

Igor Julio has joined Burnley on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The Brazilian defender previously spent three seasons with Brighton after a £14.5 million transfer from Fiorentina. During his time with the Seagulls, he made 50 appearances and even had a loan spell at West Ham United last season, where he gained valuable experience in the Premier League.

Largie Ramazani, on the other hand, has been signed on a loan deal that includes an obligation for Burnley to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season. The 25-year-old forward joined Leeds United from Spanish club Almeria in August 2024, where he played a pivotal role in their Championship title-winning campaign, scoring six goals in 29 league appearances. Ramazani also spent the previous season on loan at Valencia in La Liga, further enhancing his skills in top-flight football.

Upon joining Burnley, Ramazani expressed his eagerness to contribute to the team, stating, "I have experience from playing in this league and creating that winning environment, so I'm hoping I can bring something to the team on and off the pitch." His experience will be crucial as Burnley looks to turn around their fortunes in the Championship.

The Clarets have had a challenging start to their Championship campaign, managing to secure only one point from their first three matches. With their next fixture against Middlesbrough on the horizon, the club is hopeful that the new additions will provide the necessary boost to improve their performance and climb the league standings.

As Burnley continues to adapt to life in the Championship after their Premier League stint, the signings of Igor Julio and Largie Ramazani highlight the club's commitment to building a competitive squad capable of achieving success in the current season.
