Caitlyn Jenner has stepped directly into the center of the WNBA’s ongoing eligibility battle.
Enes Kanter has offered the WNBA a formal peace deal proposing a sit-down summit to establish explicit policy definitions regarding biological women in the league. And, to give the meeting authority, Kanter named Olympic icon Caitlyn Jenner as his preferred moderator, citing her status as a legendary athlete to lead the dialogue.
While Jenner has publicly backed his overarching cause, arguing the league needs firm, clear eligibility rules, the WNBA is almost certain to ignore the offer. League officials have already dismissed these tactics as bad-faith distractions and hold zero interest in negotiating policy on his terms.
However, that won’t stop Jenner and Kanter from trying, as they look to build up a bit of a partnership.

And Jenner is more than willing to step in and assist Enes Kanter‘s cause, offering to help moderate the dialogue with league officials.
Kanter shared the texts between himself and Jenner when talking to Benny Johnson: “I actually had a conversation with her last night. She said, ‘Listen, I love what you’re doing. Whatever you’re doing, just count me in. I will do anything to help.’ I asked, ‘Listen, we might offer them a peace summit—would you be okay to moderate it?’ She said, ‘Amen.'”
