Central Arkansas Bears knock off FCS No. 22 UT Martin in season opener

MARTIN, Tenn. – The Central Arkansas Bears kicked off their 2026 season with a bang, defeating No. 22 UT Martin 36-24 on Thursday night.

In his debut for the Bears, Conway native Donovyn Omolo passed for 243 yards and three touchdowns while adding 113 rushing yards.

Arlie Lee hauled in two touchdown receptions, while Kealen Juniel added another receiving score. Jalen Washington and Que Tillman each added rushing touchdowns as the Bears opened the season with a road win over a ranked opponent.

The Bears will return home next Saturday for their 2026 home opener against the University of West Florida Argonauts at Estes Stadium.
