However, Chelsea continue to pursue the 23-year-old midfielder and are ready to challenge Bournemouth's stance once more, as Scott represents their primary target to replace Fernandez.
Chelsea have also considered Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga, but they have chased Scott throughout the summer and are determined to secure him. Manchester City are pursuing Chelsea midfielder Fernandez and are preparing an offer to recruit the Argentina star. Chelsea are looking for £120 million ($163.1 million) and have emphasized that they require a replacement before they conduct business on Fernandez.
City are understood to be willing to satisfy Chelsea's valuation and they are also conscious that Fernandez is interested in a reunion with Enzo Maresca.
The Blues are also exploring a reduced-price transaction for Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez, who has been offered to Chelsea. Villa are willing to move on the FIFA World Cup winning shot stopper who is receptive to relocating to Stamford Bridge this summer.
