Denver Broncos have waived safety Parker Robertson

According to Mike Klis if 9News, the Denver Broncos have waived safety Parker Robertson today. 

Per source, #Broncos have waived undrafted rookie safety Parker Robertson. Had a terrific game last night with 4 tackles, a tackle for loss and fumble recovery.

Robertson signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2026 NFL Draft. At Oklahoma State, he posted 77 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, one sack, five pass breakups, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles in his final season. He had a solid performance in that final preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings with four tackles and a fumble recovery.

As we noted in our offseason roster review, Robertson had the tools in college to translate to the NFL level.

Robertson’s leadership, football intelligence, and nose for the football all stand out. However, the experience of other players gunning for a spot, coupled with his below average size and athleticism will make things tough for him to crack the final 53-man roster.

However, the team has been trying to add a veteran safety to the roster and that doesn’t bode well for the safety’s on the back end of the roster. We’ll have to see how the team approaches the position on the practice squad.
