THURSDAY, AUG. 27Rahway 30, Willingboro 28: Jaylen Eastman scored three touchdowns as Rahway held off Willingboro in another thrilling opener. Eastman scored on a fumble recovery in the first quarter and caught a pair of touchdown passes. Ja’Quan Robinson threw a 16-yard score to Eastman in the second quarter. Anthony Robertson connected with Eastman for a 50-yard touchdown pass in the fourth. Jaiden Martinez kicked a 26-yard field goal to open Rahway’s scoring in the first quarter. Cimair Tate finished the Indians’ scoring with a 40-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. Willingboro cut it to 30-28 off a 27-yard run and a two-point conversion pass but couldn’t get closer. Willingboro edged Rahway 35-33 in last year’s opener.
