Former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. led North Carolina to a Week 0 victory over TCU in Dublin, Ireland.

As part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, Edwards, who got injured in Week 1 for the Badgers last year, is now 1-0 on his third team in his last three years.

The Tar Heels won an ugly, low-scoring 15-10 game to open Bill Belichick's second year at UNC.

Self-inflicted wounds got the best of TCU, and Edwards got the game to end on an offside penalty against the Horned Frogs.

Overall, he was 16/28 for 232 yards without a touchdown or interception. His longest run of the day was for 11 yards, but he goes down with just seven carries for negative four yards due to the three sacks he took.

Fellow Wisconsin transfer, wide receiver Trech Kekahuna, was third on the team in receiving with three receptions for 38 yards.
