Germany's men's hockey team defended their world title to win gold for the fourth time after beating Spain 1-0 in the final on Sunday.
André Henning's team racked up another triumph at the World Cup to go with successes in 2002, 2006 and 2023. With their fourth title, Germany are now joint-record winners with Pakistan.
Michel Struthoff scored the winner in the 44th minute at the nearly sold-out hockey arena in Wavre in front of 10,000 spectators.
Germany, also European champions, dropped deeper and deeper towards the end of the match and saw out the win.
