Pakistan opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq has suffered a low-grade strain to his left calf and his participation in the  rest of the second Test against England at Lord’s will depend on his recovery, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Friday. Imam sustained the injury while fielding on the opening day of the Test. Scans later confirmed the calf strain, with the 30-year-old now receiving treatment under the supervision of Pakistan’s medical team. The PCB said his participation in the rest of the match would be assessed based on his response to treatment. Pakistan, who are looking to level the three-match series after losing the first Test at Headingley, are currently engaged in the second Test at Lord’s.
