Ahead of the 2026 NFL season, eight franchises are debuting uniforms. This is part of Nike's new "Rivalries" series, which has a handful of team's participating; the Indianapolis Colts being one of them.
The Colts' jerseys are inspired by the anvil that is a pregame tradition for someone to bang prior to games at Lucas Oil Stadium. The uniforms are a gray base and have a blue helmet.
Nate Davis at USA TODAY published a ranking of the uniforms, and here's what it looked like:
Then rounding out the top five, is the Colts; who recently unveiled their uniforms that will be debuted for the first time this season.
- "It purports to feature 'enhanced stripes, high-shine finishes and dark, intense tones designed to evoke power and speed. Horseshoe, ironwork and anvil-inspired details keep the look rooted in Colts tradition.' I see a gray jersey with blue numbers and shoulder stripes that nicely repurpose the grommets from the team’s beloved horseshoe logo. It’s fine even if it underdelivers to some degree."
