Bhayshul Tuten is entering the 2026 NFL season with an opportunity to become a bigger part of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense. The running back has received a major breakout prediction, with his role potentially expanding as the team determines how to distribute its carries.

The opportunity comes as Jacksonville evaluates its running back rotation and looks for the most effective combination of players. Tuten is expected to compete for meaningful touches, giving him a chance to establish himself as more than a complementary option within the offense.

[Doug Engle/Florida Times-Union]Tuten has already attracted attention as a potential sleeper because of his physical ability and upside. His combination of speed, explosiveness and running style gives Jacksonville another option capable of creating big plays when given enough opportunities.

The backfield situation could create an important opening for Tuten throughout the season. With the Jaguars weighing their options at the position, his ability to consistently produce when his number is called could determine whether he earns a larger share of the workload.

NFL Analysis Predicts Breakout Season for Jacksonville Jaguars’ Bhayshul TutenRunning back Bhayshul Tuten (33) is introduced before an NFL football game at EverBank Stadium, Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, in Jacksonville, Fla. The Jaguars defeated the Colts 36-19.

Tuten’s campaign next season is projected to be a good one for the running back. This is detailed more in an analysis by Zachary Pereles for CBS Sports.

Eight different running backs got at least one vote, but Bhayshul Tuten garnered the most with four. The second-year Jaguars running back only averaged 3.7 yards per carry last year, but he had a 51.8% rushing success rate, 15th out of 67 players with at least 70 carries, and directly in front of James Cook.

Fantasy football interest has also increased around Tuten because an expanded role could translate into significant production. If he receives enough carries and opportunities in the passing game, he could become one of the more valuable late-round options for fantasy managers looking for an emerging running back.

The 2026 season will ultimately determine whether Tuten can turn the prediction into reality. If he takes advantage of his opportunities and proves capable of handling a larger workload, Jacksonville could discover another important piece for its offense while Tuten establishes himself as a legitimate breakout candidate.
