In a significant development for English cricket, Joe Root has been reappointed as the captain of the England Test team, with former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming stepping in as head coach. This decision follows the recent dismissal of Brendon McCullum from his role as Test coach and the unexpected retirement of former captain Ben Stokes from international cricket earlier this month.
