CLEAR FORK, WV (WVNS) - The Westside Renegades are on the hunt to get back to postseason play after a sub-.500 finish to last season.

Westside will be fielding a balanced attack on offense led by dual threat Quarterback Bradyn Waldron. There are several Renegades like him who will be key contributors on both sides of the ball, alongside big guys such as Evan Elswick on defense.

Will Daniels returns for his second year in charge of the program. So, far he is liking what he sees out of his maturing team.

“We’ve really been out here grinding. Got a good group of juniors-seniors, core lettermen coming back. So, 7 starters offense and defense. So, we feel very comfortable. I mean, not comfortable, but excited about the potential of what we have,” said Coach Daniels.

Coach Daniels said he hopes they can keep pushing further into the playoffs to develop into a perennial powerhouse in years to come.

The Westside Renegades kicks off their season at home in a fierce Battle for the Golden Shovel against cross-county rivals Wyoming East on Friday, August 28, 2026.
