Liverpool Secures Teenage Forward Djylian N’Guessan from Saint-Etienne

Liverpool Football Club has officially announced the acquisition of teenage forward Djylian N’Guessan from the French side Saint-Etienne. The Premier League club revealed the signing on Friday, confirming that the 18-year-old will join the team on a permanent basis in January 2024.

As part of the arrangement, N’Guessan will spend the remainder of the current season on loan at Stade Brestois 29, competing in Ligue 1. This move allows the young talent to gain valuable experience in the French top flight before making the transition to the Premier League.

N’Guessan has progressed through the youth ranks at Saint-Etienne, making his senior debut in January 2025.
