LEHIGH VALLEY 6, SYRACUSE 4 (BOX)

Three ‘cuse pitchers, six earned runs. Only Zach Franklin, one of the Mets’ trade deadline acquisitions , didn’t allow an earned run in his time on the mound. Jose Ramos hit a solo shot and MJ Melendez drove in two in the Syracuse loss.

Double A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (55 – 68)

BINGHAMTON 5, READING 1 (BOX)

Chris Suero drove in four runs and the Bingo bullpen was perfect over six innings. Marco Vargas went 3-5 with a double and triple, along with a stolen base.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (55 – 67)

HUDSON VALLEY 5, BROOKLYN 2 (BOX)

Local boy Sammy Stafura hit a double and drew a walk in the Cyclones’ 5-2 loss. Yonatan Henriquez went three for four with two RBI, while the Brooklyn bullpen allowed two runs over four innings, striking out five and walking three.

Low-A: St. Lucie Mets (53 – 70)

DAYTONA 6, ST. LUCIE 5 (BOX)

Jonathan Jimenez gave up four earned runs on five hits in two and a third innings pitched, as St. Lucie dropped a close one to Tortugas. Yovanny Rodriguez provided most of the offense, driving in three, with Branny De Oleo adding a solo home run.
