For the first time this season, Michigan State soccer has entered the top 25 in the national rankings.
The Spartans, who prepped for the year with a pair of exhibitions against Loyola Chicago and Notre Dame, both ending in draws, have found a pair of wins to open the campaign 2-0.
An opening night win against Albany set the stage for Michigan State, defeating the Great Danes 6-2 with an offensive barrage. Following the win, the Spartans got another home win, this time against Seattle. The Spartans defeated the Redhawks 2-1.
With the undefeated start, Michigan State checked in at No. 24 in the United Coaches poll on Tuesday.
