Minnesota Gophers Volleyball Triumphs Over Auburn in Four-Set Match

The Minnesota Gophers volleyball team faced off against Auburn on Wednesday night, concluding their participation in the Big Ten/SEC Challenge held in Madison, Wisconsin. This match marked a shift for the Gophers, who had previously battled three consecutive ranked opponents to start the season.

After suffering a setback against No. 17 Florida the night before, the No. 11 ranked Gophers found their rhythm against the unranked Tigers. Minnesota secured the victory with set scores of 25-12, 21-25, 25-16, and 26-24. Outside hitter McKenna Wucherer was instrumental in this win, tying her career-high with 21 kills, showcasing her offensive prowess. In addition, fellow outside hitter Kelly Kinney contributed significantly with 12 kills, while Stella Swenson orchestrated the offense with 38 assists.
