The University of North Florida Ospreys men's basketball team is set to begin its 2026-27 non-conference season with a challenging schedule that will see them travel across five states. The Ospreys will kick off their campaign with a two-game road trip to California, starting with a matchup against California Baptist on November 3 in Riverside, followed by a highly anticipated game against the UCLA Bruins at Pauley Pavilion on November 6.

After their initial games in California, the Ospreys will continue their road journey with a game against the Miami Hurricanes on November 9. This will lead into their home opener on November 14, where they will host The Citadel. The early part of the season is crucial for the Ospreys as they aim to establish momentum before entering their ASUN conference schedule.

Following their matchups against UCLA and Miami, the Ospreys will not face another Power Five conference opponent until December 21 when they take on Texas A&M. This game is particularly significant as it will provide the Ospreys with a chance to gauge their competitiveness against a top-tier program. They will also face the Georgia Bulldogs on December 29, adding to their challenging non-conference slate.

In addition to Texas A&M and Georgia, the Ospreys have scheduled games against Abilene Christian and Tarleton State, both of which will take place in Texas. The Ospreys will face Abilene Christian on December 31 and Tarleton State on January 2, before commencing their ASUN conference play at home against Bellarmine on January 7. This early season road-heavy schedule is designed to prepare the team for the rigors of conference competition.

Meanwhile, the Ospreys women's basketball team will also be active, playing 15 games in the state of Florida. They will kick off their season with an exhibition game against Florida Southern on October 27, followed by their home opener against Florida Tech on November 2. The women's team will also face notable opponents such as Florida State on November 5 and Texas Tech on December 16, ensuring a competitive schedule ahead of their ASUN opener on January 9 against Jacksonville.

As the Ospreys prepare for their respective seasons, game times for both teams will be announced at a later date. The anticipation builds as fans look forward to what promises to be an exciting season for both the men's and women's basketball programs at the University of North Florida.
