Official Champions League fixtures: Inter and Napoli debut against Real Madrid and Arsenal

Inter and Roma begin their Champions League campaign away at Real Madrid and Fenerbahçe, respectively, while Napoli will host Arsenal and Como will meet RB Leipzig at the Stadio Sinigaglia.

UEFA has released the fixture list for the league phase of the Champions League.

Inter will start their Champions League journey away in Madrid. They’ll face José Mourinho’s Real Madrid on September 8 at 21:00 CET, reuniting with the Portuguese coach at the same stadium, the Santiago Bernabéu, where the Nerazzurri and Mou won the Champions League Final in 2010. That was also the last time a Serie A club won the Champions League.

Games against Club Brugge (home) and Shakhtar Donetsk (away at Stamford Bridge) will be played on October 13 and October 21, respectively.

The match against Liverpool at San Siro is scheduled for January 19, 2027.

Roma begin away at Fenerbahce, against their ex-striker Romelu Lukaku and former Lazio star Matteo Guendouzi.

In the following round, on October 14, Mourinho will return to the Stadio Olimpico. The Giallorossi will play two consecutive away games in November, visiting Manchester United before facing defending champions PSG.

Napoli will play their opening game against Arsenal at the Stadio Maradona, before visiting Villarreal (October 13) and hosting Bodo/Glimt (October 20).

The away game at Manchester City will be played on November 24. Max Allegri’s men will finish the league phase against pot-4 teams Sabah (away) and Viking (home).

Cesc Fabregas’ Como will play their first-ever Champions League game at home against RB Leipzig. Fabregas’ return to Barcelona won’t happen until the final round of the league phase on January 27, 2027.
