Chicago Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong revealed that franchise legend Sammy Sosa predicted his incredible three-home-run performance before he achieved the feat.
Crow-Armstrong shared the remarkable prediction after the Cubs’ emphatic victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday.

Underdog MLB shared a video featuring Crow-Armstrong discussing Sosa’s prediction, with the caption:
“Sammy Sosa told PCA he was going to hit 3 HR today.”
The 24-year-old became the youngest player in Cubs history to record a three-home-run game. He finished the game 4-for-6 with six RBIs and four runs scored as Chicago secured a 17-5 win over Cincinnati.
Crow-Armstrong’s third home run came in the seventh inning, when he launched a three-run shot. That gave him another opportunity to make history in his final at-bat of the game.
He came to the plate in the eighth inning against position player Jose Trevino with a chance to become the 22nd player in MLB history to hit four home runs in a single game.
However, Crow-Armstrong grounded out to end the possibility of a historic fourth homer. His three-homer performance had already provided a memorable moment, though, particularly after Sosa had seemingly predicted the feat before it happened.
Crow-Armstrong’s remarkable day therefore came with an extra layer of intrigue, with one of the Cubs’ most recognisable names having called it before the game.
