LOGANSPORT 2, BENTON CENTRAL 0
Logansport shut out Benton Central in Oxford to move to 2-2 and 2-1 in the HC.
Dewansley Meme scored a goal assisted by Stebe Santos, and Wood Georges scored a goal.
“It was a good conference win and bounce back after the conference loss versus West Lafayette on Tuesday,” Logan coach Mike Turner said. “We were missing three key players to illness and injury. The team came out focused and determined. We had only 10 shots on the game, but Benton Central were all in behind the ball making it tough on our offense. Benton Central only had one shot on our goal the entire game. Compliments to our team defense and relentless pressure. We need to improve our finishing in front of goal. It was a more focused team effort from start to finish.”
Logan travels to Lafayette Jeff next Thursday.
