Roma planning to sign two wingers before transfer deadline

In the final hours of the transfer window, Roma are aiming to bring in at least one attacking winger to complete Gian Piero Gasperini’s attack.

They lack a player capable of running at pace and quickly turning the tables.

Currently, the leading candidates are Luiz Henrique and Leweling, while keeping an eye on Gittens’ future.

The hottest option is the Brazilian, which Botafogo are also interested in, given that the Germans rejected a €40 million offer for the 2001-born player from Stuttgart (€5 million for the loan plus a €35 million obligation).

Roma is working on several deals to strengthen their attack. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Roman club could also sign two attacking wingers, but on one condition: selling Matias Soulé in the final hours of the transfer window.

The player’s agent is seeking a last-minute solution, partly because the former Frosinone player wants to play and has realized the space is becoming scarce at Roma.

Keep an eye on Fulham’s interest, and especially Newcastle’s, which could soon make an official offer to Roma for the Argentine. If Soulé leaves, Roma could close the deal on two wingers.
