A former Las Vegas Raiders fourth-round pick, White made his Saints debut in Friday's 27-24 preseason win over the Dallas Cowboys. White carried the ball four times for 23 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown run, though the late audition didn't secure a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster.
White's departure is notable with Alvin Kamara sidelined by a sprained MCL, Ty Chandler down with a season-ending knee injury, and Audric Estime banged up vs the Cowboys.
