The Seattle Seahawks are more than pleased with defensive tackle Leonard Williams’ production since the team first traded for him in 2023. In his three years in Seattle, Williams has made two Pro Bowls and was a key cog in the team’s Super Bowl championship.
Because of that, the Seahawks are keeping Williams around for at least three more seasons. The team reportedly agreed to a three-year, $90million deal with Williams on Thursday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN initially broke the news that a new deal between the Seahawks and Williams was coming.
Williams has performed like one of the best defensive lineman in the game since he was selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He finished third in the Rookie of the Year voting that season and made his first Pro Bowl the following year.
With the team in decline, the Jets traded Williams to the New York Giants in 2019. In his first full season with the Giants, Williams racked up a career-high 11.5 sacks, though was not elected to the Pro Bowl.
He experienced a few productive seasons with the Giants before the team traded him to Seattle in 2023.
