See Jacksonville State football's first depth chart of 2026 season

JACKSONVILLE — The first Jacksonville State football depth chart of the 2026 season was announced Tuesday.

The depth chart is put together by the school's media staff and is unofficial but has historically been accurate and gives a look at who could see playing time this fall for the Gamecocks.

Quarterback Caden Creel returns after starting the final nine games of the year and seeing time in all 14 games. He accounted for 2,500 yards and 16 scores. Gone is workhorse running back Cam Cook, though, who led the nation in rushing.

This year's Jax State campaign starts August 29 at North Dakota State. The Gamecocks will try to make a third straight Conference USA title game, and will look to win it after dropping the 2025 game to Kennesaw State at AmFirst Stadium.
