On Day 1 of the Jacksonville Jaguars' joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Travis Hunter spent all of his 11-on-11 snaps on defense.
According to ESPN's Michael DiRocco, Hunter played 25 snaps at cornerback during the team periods and none at wide receiver.
Hunter was able to record a pass breakup, knocking the ball away from Bucs' wide receiver Ted Hurst III.

Over the last week of practices, this has become the norm for Hunter. In fact, he's hardly played any offensive snaps during that span.
It certainly looks like the Jaguars are gearing Hunter up for a very defensive-heavy role in Week 1.
That said, this doesn't mean we won't see him at wide receiver at all. But what that workload looks like still remains to be seen. Weekly matchups and in-game situations could dictate Hunter's snaps on offense.
In total this summer, Hunter has played 208 defensive snaps in 11-on-11 work and 65 on offense. At one point, that split wasn't as lopsided.
