The UFC's third stop in Shanghai will be one for the books, because Saturday's UFC Fight Night 286 was the most memorable show in China so far.

Local hero Song Yadong (24-9-1 MMA, 13-4-1 UFC) scored one of the biggest results of the year when he shocked Umar Nurmagomedov (20-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) with a second-round knockout in their bantamweight headliner.

Kai Asakura (23-6 MMA, 2-2 UFC) improved to 2-0 since he moved up to the UFC bantamweight division in May 2026.

Asakura has earned 18 of his 23 career victories by stoppage.

Su Mudaerji def. Alex Perez

Su Mudaerji's (20-7 MMA, 7-4 UFC) five-fight UFC unbeaten streak at flyweight is the second-longest active streak in the division behind Joshua Van (seven).

Mudaerji improved to 6-2 with one no contest since he dropped to the UFC flyweight division in November 2020.

Mudaerji has earned six of his seven UFC victories by decision.
