Carolina Panthers general manager Dan Morgan might've just minted another undrafted rookie gem.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, defensive lineman Aaron Hall is expected to make the Panthers' initial 53-man roster for the 2026 campaign. Hall, a standout at nearby Duke Univerity, was signed by Carolina following the 2026 NFL Draft.
Over his five seasons at Duke, Hall amassed 121 combined tackles (22.5 for a loss), 8.0 sacks, a forced fumble and four passes defensed. He'd go on to earn a third-team All-ACC selection in 2025, where he registered 28 pressures—tied for the 16th-most amongst all defensive linemen in the nation.
The 6-foot-4, 297-pounder carried his pass-rushing skills into the pros, putting on standout performances during spring and summer workouts. In his four preseason outings, Hall recorded three tackles, half a sack and four pressures.
Hall would not be the first undrafted rookie to shine his way onto the initial roster under Morgan. Wide receiver Jalen Coker and cornerback Corey Thornton also did enough to earn their spots in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
