The Lady Cougars remained unbeaten on the young season after knocking off Milan 25-23, 25-20, 20-25, 25-15.
Defensively for South, Liz Bennett finished with a team-high 11 digs and added two solo blocks. Dalilah Martin had nine digs. Laney Seegers added seven digs. Riley Benge finished with two solo blocks.
Taylor Somers led the South offensive attack with 15 kills. Riley Benge put away 12 kills. Bennett followed with eight kills. Kennedy Sundal finished with six kills and Martin had four kills. Raegan Benge set the offense with 19 assists.
At the service line, Raegan Benge had a team-high three aces. Martin and Riley Benge both served a pair of aces.
South Ripley 3, South Decatur 1
The Lady Cougars suffered a tough loss, first of the season, at South Ripley Thursday in four exciting sets 25-21, 25-20, 25-27, 27-25.
Taylor Somers tallied 12 kills and six solo blocks, both team-highs. Riley Benge finished with nine kills and three blocks. Raegan Benge added five digs, three aces and 24 assists. Dalilah Martin had seven kills and eight digs. Liz Bennett put away six kills. Laney Seegers had nine digs and Kennedy Sundal dished out four assists.
Triton Central 3, North Decatur 0
Visiting Triton Central improved to 6-3 on the season with a 25-15, 25-16, 25-13 victory at North Decatur Wednesday. The Lady Chargers are 4-5 on the season.

The Lady Chargers evened their season record at 5-5 with a 25-4, 25-18, 25-11 victory against Franklin County.

Rushville hosted EIAC foe East Central Wednesday in volleyball action. The Lady Trojans improved to 5-4 on the season with a 25-13, 25-14, 25-21 victory against the Lady Lions.
Rushville drops to 1-3 on the season.
