Oak Grove managed a narrow victory over Southwest Guilford, edging them 4-3, which brought the Grizzlies' record to 3-3, while the Cowboys fell to 3-5.
In another exciting match, Westchester Country Day clinched a hard-fought 2-1 overtime victory against Burlington Christian in PTAC boys soccer. Eduardo Juarez Garcia scored the decisive goal just a minute into overtime, helping the Wildcats maintain their perfect record at 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference. Ragsdale also had a strong showing, defeating Trinity 7-1, improving to 4-2, while Thomasville topped Lexington 4-1, with Carlos Ponicano Diaz netting three goals.
Wesleyan Christian's success extended beyond soccer, as their girls tennis team also defeated High Point Christian 7-2. Lucy Picha, Lily Hambright, Sophie Mueller, and Christelle Pekala all claimed victories in singles matches, while the doubles teams of Picha/Madeline Picha, Foust/Hambright, and Mueller/Hurst secured additional points for the Trojans.
