The Los Angeles Dodgers’ situation is quite precarious, at the moment. Off the court, owner Mark Walter’s reported financial issues are sure to be causing some uncertainty for the franchise.
While the team is still likely to make the postseason easily, they’ve been losing momentum at the wrong time. The Dodgers have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games, a worrying sign.
Three of those losses have come against a direct competitor recently. The Dodgers managed to lose 3-0 in their regular-season series against the Atlanta Braves. And MLB fans love it.

“October Baseball in August! It doesn’t get any better than this!” one fan wrote. “This is what I live for, don’t even talk to me rn,” another fan said.
“The Dodgers cannot hit, period. Their record over all against good teams is under .500,” a third comment observed. “I do hate the Braves, but kind of glad to see this,” another wrote.
“Every time something like this happens, no one is happier than me,” a fifth fan said. “I’m gonna enjoy every delicious moment of this, hope it happens again in October,” wrote a sixth fan.
Nothing is decided in the regular season, so it will only truly matter what happens come playoff time. However, the Dodgers’ confidence could be shaken, which other teams will smell like blood in the water.
