The Arena MRV Run will feature multiple race formats designed to cater to diverse interests and abilities. Participants can choose from four distinct categories: a 10 km run for ages 14 and up, a 5 km run also for ages 14 and older, a non-competitive 4 km walk open to all, and a special Kids Walk for children born between 2013 and 2022. This wide range of options encourages families and friends to join together in a shared experience.
The schedule for the day is packed with excitement, beginning at 5:30 PM when the Arena opens. The 10 km run will kick off at 6:00 PM, followed by the 5 km run at 7:00 PM, and the 4 km walk starting at 8:00 PM. The Kids Walk will commence at 8:30 PM, with an awards ceremony and raffle concluding the festivities at 9:30 PM.
Registration for the Arena MRV Run is now open, with early-bird pricing available for those who sign up in advance. Galo na Veia members can take advantage of tiered pricing, starting at R$ 139 for the first tier until October 2, and increasing to R$ 159 by November 6. General public registration begins at R$ 149, with similar tiered pricing. Notably, seniors aged 60 and over and individuals with disabilities are eligible for a 50% discount, making this event more accessible.
Participants will receive a participation kit that includes essential items for the race, which must be picked up in person before the event. It is important to note that there will be no kit distribution on the day of the race, so participants should plan accordingly.
All finishers will be awarded a medal, with the top five male and female finishers in the 5 km and 10 km races receiving trophies or special medals. The 4 km walk is designed to be a participatory event without competitive rankings, emphasizing enjoyment over competition.
