Arsenal has asked Real Madrid about a deal for Endrick despite the Spanish side insisting that the Brazilian striker is not for sale this summer.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, where he performed well, and would be keen to get more opportunities in the Madrid team this season.
However, with a new manager at the helm, there is no guarantee that Endrick will get enough chances to play, although the club and Jose Mourinho want him to stay.
Real Madrid has maintained that stance throughout the summer, but with only a few days left before the transfer window closes, the Gunners want to add Endrick to their squad and are planning to make an offer.

The Gunners see Endrick as another player who is not being appreciated enough at the Spanish club, similar to Martin Odegaard before Arsenal signed the Norwegian midfielder.
Endrick could be given greater relevance at the Emirates, which could make a move appealing to both the player and Arsenal if Real Madrid were prepared to consider a deal.

Difficult deal for Arsenal to completeHowever, this is surely not an easy deal for Arsenal to pull off. Real Madrid has made its position clear throughout the summer, with the club determined to keep the Brazilian striker despite the uncertainty surrounding his opportunities under the new manager.
Arsenal would also have to convince Endrick to leave the Spanish side, which would not be easy given his position at one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The timing could make the situation even more difficult for the Gunners. With the transfer window closing in only a few days, Arsenal may not have enough time to convince both Real Madrid and the player to agree to a move.
For now, the Gunners have made their interest clear by asking about the conditions for a deal. Whether that initial approach can develop into a transfer remains uncertain, particularly with Real Madrid continuing to insist that Endrick is not available this summer.
