After the reported releases of cornerback Alex Austin, offensive lineman Kevin Cline, tight end Ethan Conner and linebacker Stephen Dix Jr., the Miami Dolphins announced those four moves as well as eight others.
The list of other players that the Dolphins released Saturday afternoon includes running back Coleman Bennett, edge Seth Coleman-Lyles, running back Donovan Edwards, defensive lineman Alex Huntley, safety Louis Moore, defensive lineman Cam Rice, linebacker Jaheim Thomas and wide receiver Theo Wease Jr.
Wease is probably the most well-known name of this group, as he caught six passes for for 139 yards and a touchdown as an undrafted rookie in 2025. After Miami took three wide receivers im the draft, it was a longshot that he'd make the roster again in 2026.
