Battle Ground Academy's Bo Bryan throws 'perfect game' in massive win

Bo Bryan's first varsity start was electric, passing for 379 yards and three touchdowns. His second game might have been even better.

Bryan, son of Luke Bryan, completed all nine of his passes for 196 yards and five touchdowns on Friday, doing most of his damage in the first half as Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN) ran away with a 62-0 victory over Columbia Academy (TN).

In the first half, Bryan went 7-for-7 with 171 yards and three touchdowns, according to local reporter Maurice Patton. The BGA defense was suffocating, preventing Columbia Academy from picking up a first down in the half and finishing the first two quarters with negative eight offensive yards, Patton posted to X.

Bryan was poised in the pocket and had plenty of time to throw:

With the game out of reach, sophomore QB Hank Bloomfield saw action, and he, too, did not miss a pass. He completed all seven attempts for 74 yards and a touchdown.

After starting his varsity career in an ESPN-televised game, Bryan had experienced the pressure and thrived, leading BGA to a 41-18 opening-week victory. With that on hand, this week's atmosphere was no problem for the senior quarterback.

A three-star QB, Bryan has three offers, according to 247Sports: Austin Peay, North Alabama, and UT Martin.Through two games this year, the 6-foot-0.5, 200-pound quarterback has completed 83.3% of his passes (25-for-30) and passed for 576 yards and eight touchdowns. Keep up this form, and he'll have more offers sooner rather than later.
