Florida State is searching for its quarterback in the 2028 recruiting cycle. Four-star prospect Brady Quinn is one of their top targets in that regard. They extended him an offer last October.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder took an unofficial visit last March, but he'll make his first trip for a game on Saturday as FSU starts its 2026 campaign against the New Mexico State Aggies. He mentioned what his reason was for coming to Tallahassee and the thing he's looking for during the season from the Seminoles.
“Just want to see how they perform this year and continue to build my relationship with the staff,” Quinn told Warchant.
It's been a struggle for Florida State since their 13-0 regular season in 2023. They've gone 7-17 since with a 3-13 record in the ACC. Simply put, it's a crucial season for the program and especially head coach Mike Norvell, which makes it reasonable why Quinn and others want to see if they can turn it around.
FSU is one of the schools that has Quinn's attention the most. His other top suitors are the UCLA Bruins, Florida Gators, SMU Mustangs, and Purdue Boilermakers. This weekend gives them an opportunity to create some distance between them and the other contenders.
Quinn is the No. 284 player nationally and the No. 18 quarterback in Rivals industry rankings. He's listed as the No. 37 recruit in the state of Florida.
