Chiefs RB Kenneth Walker III greets former Seahawks teammates after preseason tie

The Seattle Seahawks may have lost their Super Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker III, in free agency... but bonds forged during a championship run aren't easily broken. After Seattle and Kansas City's 9-9 tie to conclude the preseason, many Seahawks found the man wearing the No. 9 jersey on the field following the game.

Walker was an incredible player and teammate during his years in Seattle, and he helped give the Pacific Northwest something they'd only experienced once before: a Super Bowl victory. While it's unfortunate the chips fell where they did and Walker found a new home in Kansas City, it's still encouraging to see him showing love towards his former teammates. Especially since he was not present at Seattle's Super Bowl ring ceremony.

One thing that is great to see is Walker still embracing the Seahawks' shadow box culture. We got a glimpse of this unique team building activity during the second episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks" earlier this summer, and it appears to be alive and well even across teams.

The Seahawks will see Walker in action later this season when Seattle hosts Kansas City for a Week 7 showdown on Sunday Night Football.
