Edge commit to attend FSU vs New Mexico State

The FSU Seminoles have a long list of prospects that will be in Tallahassee today as they begin the 2026 season against the New Mexico State Aggies. However, they'll also have one of their committed players in attendance as four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro announced that he will be there.

"Can’t wait to be back in Tallahassee this saturday to watch them boys get active!!! 🍢🍢🍢 I’m Home," Cavallaro said.

Cavallaro is the No. 362 recruit nationally and the No. 33 edge per 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder is also ranked the No. 35 prospect in the state of Florida.

FSU offered Cavallaro last November when he visited for their game against the Virginia Tech Hokies. When they had several Junior Day events in January, he attended the first one, and then committed at the end of the month. He was on campus for an unofficial visit in March, and then at the end of May, Cavallaro shut down his recruitment after an official visit.

As you can see, Cavallaro has made his presence known in Tallahassee ever since he pledged to the program, which is a great way to keep him locked in. He's one of three edge commits for Florida State in the 2027 class along with three-star recruits Jaxon Holly and Meshi Dobson.
