Hamilton, who hails from Toronto, Ontario, currently plays at Montverde Academy in Florida. He has made a name for himself not only at the high school level but also on the international stage, having represented Canada in various competitions, including the Under Armour Next 16U Circuit and the FIBA U17 World Cup. With over 15 scholarship offers, Hamilton is a highly sought-after prospect, and while he has not scheduled any official visits yet, that could change rapidly if he decides to reclassify.
If Hamilton were to enroll as a college freshman in 2027, his birth date in October 2009 would also qualify him for the 2028 NBA Draft, adding another layer of intrigue to his decision. Other programs in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) that have shown interest in Hamilton include Florida State, Villanova, Arkansas, Georgia, and Missouri, with Alabama being the first to extend an offer on October 30, 2025.
