Everton are in talks to re-sign Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City on a busy day where Iliman Ndiaye looks set to join Tottenham with Richarlison heading the other way.
The Toffees have also called off plans to sell homegrown star Harrison Armstrong to Nottingham Forest.
The possible reunion with Grealish will grab the headlines as David Moyes wants to bring the 30-year-old back to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Grealish spent last term with the Toffees, making 22 appearances, but suffered a foot injury in January which ended his campaign.
The England international has been linked with a move to Sunderland, but a return to Merseyside is on the cards with clubs in talks.
Grealish’s possible arrival could off-set the likely departure of Iliman Ndiaye.
Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Ndiaye, the Press Association understands.
Spurs striker Richarlison is poised to head the other way back to his former club in a separate transfer.
Spurs are looking to bring in extra attacking options before the transfer window shuts on Tuesday and the Senegal frontman could be the next through the door after the signings of Manchester City duo Savio and Omar Marmoush earlier this week.
Everton have tried to keep Ndiaye, who played 90 minutes in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, but he has rejected multiple offers for a new contract over the last 12 months.
Ndiaye, 26, joined the Toffees in 2024 following a short stint at Marseille and he has scored 17 goals in 73 appearances.
If the move goes through, he could be replaced by Richarlison, who Everton have an interest in bringing back to the club where he enjoyed a successful four-year spell.
Richarlison left Merseyside in 2022, joining Antonio Conte’s Spurs side in a £60 million ($81.28 million) deal, but has had a frustrating time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
