A debate regarding whether Travis Kelce or Rob Gronkowski had a better NFL career has broken out on social media.
Kelce is, of course, still an active NFL player and is due to kick off the latest season with the Kansas City Chiefs next month.
The Chiefs endured a difficult 2025 campaign, which resulted in them missing out on the playoffs, but they are a historically top team and Kelce has already won three Super Bowls during his career.
But has he had a better career than four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski?

A number of fans have since responded to the tweet to give their thoughts, including one who compared the NFL duo to Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
They wrote: “This is like Jordan and LeBron. Kelce/LeBron’s longevity and all-time production may never be matched. Prime Gronk/Jordan was unstoppable and the best there is.”
A second commented: “Kelce better career, but you take a prime Gronk > prime Kelce every time.”
Another stated: “Kelce but I like Gronk more,” with a fourth writing: “This is not even a question…. It’s Gronk all day.”
A fifth claimed: “Better run, Gronk. Better career, Kelce,” with a sixth suggesting: “Gronk easy. FAR more talented too.”
Another hinted that Gronk was made better by Tom Brady, tweeting: “Kelce. Gronk was awesome but always had Tom Brady as his QB.”
