Celtic midfielder Mika Baur has shared the reaction from within the Celtic dressing room in the wake of the capitulation against LASK in Linz last night.
Just a week ago, the £6 million signing from Paderborn described his first Celtic Park experience after helping his new club to a 3-0 win over the Austrian champions in the first leg, in what was considered as a commanding lead heading into the second leg in Linz.

“Not much goes on, no-one speaks. everyone’s with themselves. So yeah at the moment it’s really quiet and really sad in the locker room.”
That belief was however shot to tiny little pieces last night, as despite going 1-0 up on the night, and 4-0 overall on aggregate, the Hopeless Hoops disgracefully lost 5-4 on aggregate. Afterwards Baur shared the feeling of disappointment of the Celtic dressing room when asked by the BBC in a post match mixed media zone interview.

The German under 21 international reckoned it was one of his toughest experiences in football. “Yeah, it is. But I really try not to be upset at the moment and today.
Baur bravely tried to stay upbeat, stating that the players still have a lot to play for in the coming campaign ahead. He said: “But we still play Europa League. We still have a lot going on in Scotland. So we need to move on tomorrow, stay together. We need to come back and try better on Saturday.”
