Stockport County have signed Cambridge United defender Mamadou Jobe for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old made 49 appearances in all competitions as the U's won promotion from League Two last season.
He could make his debut for the Hatters in Saturday's home game against Wycombe.
"He is an exceptional defender first and foremost, with a great blend of physical and technical attributes that we feel will really add to our group," boss Jim McNulty told the club website.
