UFC Shanghai video: Denise Gomes scores highlight reel KO of Yan Xiaonan

Denise Gomes made a statement by knocking out a former title challenger at UFC Fight Night 286.

Gomes (13-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) landed a lead-in elbow which dropped Yan Xiaonan (19-6 MMA, 9-5 UFC), before connecting with a crushing combination to score the knockout finish at the 4:49 mark of Round 1 in Saturday's strawweight co-main event at Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in China.

Gomes extended her winning streak to five, which is the longest among active fighters at 115 pounds. With the finish, the 26-year-old Brazilian tied Jessica Andrade for most knockout victories in UFC strawweight history at four.
