In a commanding display of skill and strategy, West Boca Raton's football team returned from an early-season bye week to shut out Spanish River 36-0 on Friday night. The Bulls' defense, led by standout linebacker Maxwell Reid, set the tone early, making it clear they were ready to dominate the game.
Reid made an immediate impact by intercepting a pass on Spanish River's very first drive. His relentless pressure on the opposing quarterback, Jaedan Phillips, included two sacks and a forced fumble, contributing to a total of five turnovers for the Bulls. "The first thing I’m trying to do is set the tone. We came out, had a safety, put some points on the board as a defense," Reid remarked after the game.
